What it does
Up to 84 tools operate the one instance you connect. You pick the toolsets on the consent page:
- instance: Connection status, QR pairing, restart, logout and online presence of the instance. (4 tools)
- messaging: Send text, media, voice notes, locations, contact cards, polls, list and button messages; react, edit and delete sent messages. (14 tools)
- chats: List chats, show the newest messages across chats, read and search message history, delivery status, read/unread and archive state, received media. (13 tools)
- contacts: Find chats by name or number, check numbers on WhatsApp, profiles and profile pictures, block and unblock. (6 tools)
- groups: Group details, participants, invite links, creation, settings and membership. (15 tools)
- labels: WhatsApp Business app labels on chats. (3 tools)
- profile: The instance's own profile name, about text, picture and privacy settings. (7 tools)
- catalog: WhatsApp Business app product catalog and collections. (2 tools)
- templates: WhatsApp Business Platform message templates: list, create, edit, delete and send. (4 tools)
- settings: Instance behaviour settings and proxy. (3 tools)
- events: Webhook and event-stream (WebSocket, RabbitMQ, NATS, SQS, Kafka, Pusher) configuration. (2 tools)
- integrations: Evolution chatbots (Evolution Bot, Typebot, OpenAI, Dify, Flowise, n8n, EvoAI), their sessions, and Chatwoot. (11 tools)
This deployment connects Evolution instances with the integration WHATSAPP-BAILEYS, WHATSAPP-BUSINESS, through your own Evolution API server. The local server (uvx evolution-api-mcp) supports every integration.
What it never does
Irreversible actions (logging the session out, deleting a message for everyone, leaving a group, deleting templates, chatbots or credentials) and every tool that takes a secret as input are not reachable here under any choice. Your messages, contacts and conversations are never stored on this server: what it keeps is your Evolution address, your instance token encrypted, and the choices you made, all listed on the privacy page. Sends are real messages to real people and the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy applies. Rotating the instance token in Evolution ends the access immediately, without going through us.
